How do I book a charter?
Booking is easy — just call or text us: 📞 (518) 934-1164 . We'll check availability, walk you through the options, and get your date reserved. No online forms, no back-and-forth — just a quick conversation and you're all set.
Where do we meet?
The tour will launch from Shore Meadows Lodge located at 22 Lake Avenue, Lake George Village, located at the north end of route 9 just before turing onto Lake Shore Drive, exact parking details will be delievered upon charter confirmation.
What should we bring?
Pack for a lake day: sunscreen (the water amplifies the sun!), towels, sunglasses, a hat, and whatever food and drinks your group wants. We have cooler space and storage on board. Leave the heavy gear at home — we've got everything else covered.
Can we swim during the charter?
Absolutely — Lake George's water is some of the cleanest and clearest in the country, and swimming is a highlight for most guests. We'll find a great spot to anchor, and you can hop in whenever the mood strikes. Swimming availability is subject to weather and water conditions on the day of your charter.
What happens if the weather is bad?
Safety is always the top priority. If conditions make it unsafe to go out, we'll work with you to reschedule your charter to the next available date — no penalty, no hassle. If you decide to cancel for any other reason prior to 72 hours until launch you will recieve a full refund, if you are within 72 hours of departure, you will be issued a refund that is half of your planned charter value.
How many people can come on a charter?
Our boat comfortably accommodates up to 9 guests. All charters are completely private — your group only, no strangers sharing the boat. Whether it's just two of you or a full group, the whole experience is tailored to your crew.
Do we need any boating experience?
Not at all. That's the whole point. Your captain handles 100% of the navigation, docking, and safety — all you need to bring is a sense of adventure. First-time boaters and seasoned lake-goers both have a great time.
Can we bring food and drinks?
Yes — bring whatever your group enjoys."BYOB" is welcome but we do ask to refrain from bringing glass on board. We have space for coolers and encourage you to pack a full picnic if you're going out for the day.
Is this good for families with young kids?
Great question — and yes, absolutely. Having a captain on board means parents can actually relax instead of worrying about the boat. We carry all required safety equipment including properly sized life jackets. Just let us know you'll have little ones when you book so we're prepared.
What activities can be done?
There are an abundance of activities that can be done, we offer tubing, water skiing, wake skating, and cliff jumping. Just let the captain know about any requests prior to boarding and he will be sure to bring adequate equipment.
